Caltrops

I've been looking on the web for concept artists recently to do some artwork for our rulebook and to have items to post on my wall to hopefully help motivate me on to bigger and better things.  Or at least to remind me to stay the course.
As I've been doing so I came across a few artists on DeviantArt.com that I think could do a really good job and I've contacted one in Singapore named Kai (http://ukitakumuki.deviantart.com/) whose artwork I've referenced with a link at the bottom.  I'd like to someday meet him in person during my travels to a supplier in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Another one I came across didn't have as much in their portfolio as Kai did, but it certainly got my attention and I coudl certainly invision the attached 3 pieces of art as a sort of a real life Caltrop piece if you kind of mixed the three:

They are all from the same artist who can be found at this link http://lucid-grey.deviantart.com/gallery/
Obviously mixing them into something with 3 legs would be a really great representation of the game piece as level one pieces.  For a level 2 piece I would add a large cannon, level three Surface to Air Missiles on its back and then jet propulsion for a level 4 Caltrop.
Any thoughts?

Phoenix Comicon

We're planning to attend Phoenix Comicon this year (May 24th - May 26th) to garner some more publicity.  We need to work out the logistics of the event as well as our presentation but think it should add a lot of value to our efforts up to this point.
Anybody else planning to attend or want to attend?

Calling all Aspiring Writers

We've got an idea we would like to run by people and see what kind of interest we get.  Our idea is to start a game review blog that we would also monetize and we would like to find any aspiring writers who are also game players to review games (usually will not be Prodigy Game Works games) and post their reviews.
We would provide the games for you to play with friends and you could play them as much as you like but ultimately we would own them.  We figure we're getting games on occassion anyway to glean ideas from and we would like to put them to use as much as possible.
We are willing to pay a little money for each post and will likely share a percentage of any payments we get from Google for ad clicks.
Obviously, you would need to be local so we can share the games with you and we will give inputs on submissions but if you are interested we can start looking into the possibility.  Also, we may even make some Vlogs that could also be posted to YouTube.
Please contact us via a comment to this posting or email John at JBiggs@ProdigyGameWorks.com.

Generals of the Revolution Dice

We've been working to identify the right dice for "Generals of the Revolution" and think weve got the colors that we like.  (Sorry we couldn't get the d12 to load)
Thoughts?

Update

We are really getting motivated to get something done and make progress in 2012. As part of that motivation we plan to have at least weekly blog posts to share and inform. Please keep watching and we love seeing new followers to the site.
Tomorrow should be the big day!  We hope to hear back from PCM Molding with quotes for the game pieces.  We're eagerly awaiting what the numbers might be because this is likely make or break for us with relation to Generals of the Revolution.   We'll keep you updated.
